Wonderful Wench workshops: make your own recycled clothing
Wench workshops are about exploring the endless possibilities of fabric.
Garments will be recreated, revamped, resized, overhauled, completely mauled, turned inside out, upside down, back to front and back again.
We will guide you through the creative process from the initial idea to the finished item and provide inspirational articles and all the tools necessary to realise your material vision.
Workshops can be as short as a couple of hours, enough to cover the ground in brief, or they can support projects lasting a day or more, perhaps in the form of an event-based fashion show.
We are happy to develop a workshop format to suit your particular needs and are comfortable working with individuals and groups of all ages.
Workshops can take place in schools, village halls or even outdoors at festivals. We can bring a bicycle-powered sewing machine which really makes you feel the power of stitching!
